BDO in Thailand 2023: Moving forward to making a difference

On 30th June 2023, BDO Thailand arranged a mid-year townhall with the theme of moving forward with our people, client, and community.

Our partners shared their opinions on developing our staff with a variety of programs to help them become more confident and well-prepared to provide a service or give advice on a client’s project. “We are focusing on helping our people become an expert, promote active listening to better understand our client’s situation, and share relevant views and opinions with the client,” said Frank Janik, Advisory Partner

For our clients “We need to put ourselves in the client’s shoes in order to provide valuable insight and recommendations to our clients” said Kraisaeng Thiranulak, Audit and Assurance, Partner. We want to make a difference by making sure we are listening to our client’s needs as well as providing a tailor-made solution to fit each project.

And last, to the community, we are looking forward to and searching for charity projects to make a difference in our community. We are working with Hand Across the Water Foundation to help mentor the students to prepare for university life and understand more about life after graduation. This year we are also looking forward to working with STEPS to embrace the potential of neurodivergent. “We would like to find an opportunity for them to be a part of our BDO culture. To give them a sense of self-esteem and the opportunity to have a normal working environment” said Noel Ashpole, Managing Partner.

After the messages from our partners and understanding more about BDO in Thailand’s 3 main objectives, we arranged a staff party. It was an enjoyable day for our staff from Bangkok and Phuket offices to spend time together. Watch this space for more details on the day and the party.
